Private Utility Network Solutions

Unlocking Value for Shopping Centres

Benefits

1.gif

Private utility networks enable shopping centres to generate income from the electricity infrastructure within their property. Tenco partners with property group owners across New Zealand who want to unlock more value from their assets.

In parallel, Tenco may manage an electricity supply procurement to make certain you secure the most competitive offers available in the market. You win when more companies compete for your business.

How it works

Step One

Quantify the Opportunity

At no cost, Tenco performs a preliminary assessment of your property and provides a tailored solution with financial projections for you to consider.

Step Two

Validate

Tenco will perform further due diligence, which may include a site inspection and coordination with your electrician. We’ll then prepare an agreement which allows Tenco to operate the network on your behalf.

Step Three

Meter Installation & Network Set-up

We arrange for a market compliant meter to be installed to measure the electricity consumed across your network. Once installed, Tenco completes all the regulatory requirements to ensure your network is compliant.

You’ll receive monthly invoices and annual reporting to highlight the performance of your network.

"A significant driver behind  the embedded network approach was to streamline our processes and be able to offer our clients choice of retailer. Many of our clients were keen to pursue their own electricity supplier which previous to having embedded networks we were unable to offer.”
